The following is a video about the benefits of reciting Shurangama Mantra (Leng Yan Zhou - 楞嚴咒). This mantra is very well-known mantra which has great benefits for those who recite it whether this life or next life. Master Hsuan Hua tells us that the Shurangama Mantra is the most powerful mantra in subduing celestial demons and hereties. Wherever and whenever people recite this mantra, no demons can  appear to harm people.

Amongs all Buddhist mantras, Shurangama Mantra is the longest one and thus there's a saying that "It takes half year to memorize this mantra even though you recite it every day. Shurangama Mantra can increase your wisdom, good roots, blessings and abilities.

The singer's name is Qiao An Wu (喬安舞). And the album is called "Pure Lotus Sound" (清淨蓮音). You probably know "Qiao An Wu" if you love Taiwanese Buddhist Music.

If you have ever searched through Youtube for "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva cartoon", you probably has ever watched the Buddhist music video called "Jian Wen Li Yi Pin" which is the verses on chapter 12 of Ksitigarbha Sutra. Bhaisajyaguru Buddha or Medicine Buddha is also a very well-known Buddha among Mahayana Buddhists. This Buddha has 10 Great Vows to help sentient beings in their daily worldly needs and also to save them and guide them in the path of achieving Buddhahood like the Buddha Himself. According to Mahayana  Buddhist scripture, Medicine Buddha is in the Eastern Pure Land. He also has a vow to deliver sentient beings to His Pure Land which is usually called as Eastern Lapis Lazuli Pure Land.

Buddha Speaks on Healing Diseases Sutra (佛說療痔病經 - Fo Shuo Liao Ji Bing Jing) is also a common Buddhist Sutra used for Healing Diseases. The Sutra also contains Dharani or Mantra to be recited for healing diseases purposes. This is a Chinese Mandarin version which you can also download on Youtube from the video below. Remember to recite the Sutra and Mantra with earnest sincerity.

Faye Wong singing Heart Sutra - 王菲现场演唱《心经》

Faye Wong (Wang Fei) sings the Heart Sutra on a live tv program. Actually she has ever sung this song before, but this one seems to be newer and more touching than the previous one. She's one of the best Buddhist song singers that I've ever known. The other singers who also sing Buddhist songs are Qi Yu and Meng Ting Wei. In fact, the Heart Sutra has ever sung by many singers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.   I have ever had a CD of Heart Sutra sung by many artist a few years ago.
